Run, Florida Cracker, Run!

Raving Rain Squalls, Batman! Yesterday morning Wilma was a category 1 and this morning Wilma is a category 5 hurricane. NOAA.

The projected path could change, of course, but it is projected to cut across a substantial population center in south Florida.

Florida Cracker better pack up those pups and Mr. Cracker and be ready to move, because it can take 18 hours to get out of Florida from where she is during an evacuation, and no way will she go to a shelter without those dogs.

I can't believe what is going on in that area of the country. A lot of the people I work with are in that state and it seems like they are constantly up against a new hurricane. Amazing.
Gindy - yea. We have a lot of client banks in Florida. Depending on where exactly this hits, it may be cruising through areas with patched construction from last year.

It's affecting the housing market in Florida in several different ways.
