That was neat - I picked up on the native dads going to the bar while the family waited out side. Happens in the wild north too. Some of the natives in the town where I grew up would buy their groceries with welfare vouchers and then stand outside a bar and hawk all the food for cash. Good discounts.
It happens everywhere among the poor. Everywhere.
It reminds you of why prohibition was passed. A great idea that was not workable.
