These pythons can get 20 feet long, you know?
Alligators have clashed with nonnative pythons before in Everglades National Park. But when a 6-foot gator tangled with a 13-foot python recently, the result wasn't pretty.There's a moral in there somewhere, and it runs something like this: If pythons start showing up around here, we're going to shoot them. Anything that tries to eat a six-foot alligator whole is not something you want around kids.
The snake apparently tried to swallow the gator whole _ and then exploded.
