Hopefully NOT H5N1 Human Cases In Turkey
Cross your fingers, etc. There's an unverified report from Oric (Turkish man) on FluClinic that some journalists who were covering the story have been hospitalized....
The same thing happened in Russia earlier this year, but as far as I know the tests turned out negative there. The Turkish authorities are doing a pretty good job of trying to control human exposure, so one would think that this is a precautionary measure only. After all, during flu season travellers do tend to get sick.
Whoops. Now it is supposed to be the journalists and their drivers. Still, this is probably some normal bug.
