Should Be Read Together
Prayer, as the Anchoress writes, is a real force. The Anchoress' post and SC&A's posts today should be read together. These both discuss reality and so does the other. I too pray for those involved in terrorism and violent aims as well as their victims. One reality must meet with and confront the other, as the Anchoress writes:
There are things visible and invisible. A thought is a thing. A hateful thought is a thing, as is a loving one. A hateful thought offered up to an altar of the invisible is hate on a supernatural level, and it can only be confronted and overcome by love on a supernatural level.

Wrong. More touchy feely crap. Hate is the only thing that lasts and if you want proof all you have to do is look at the past 2,000 years in the Middle East. Turn the other cheek and I'll hit you with the other fist is a lot more truthful.
No, it really isn't. Not that both fighting and praying aren't necessary, because they are.
Prayer offers a chance to change to those who have been raised in a hellhole of hate, bigotry and confusion. Fighting is necessary to deal with those who won't take the opportunity.
