Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all have a great day with friends or family. My brother came, and the Chief and I are very happy.

It's my favorite holiday.

Giving Thanks, and especially giving Thanks in service, is one of the experiences that most transforms human life.

A couple of quotes from Winston Churchill:
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.

A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

We are stripped bare by the curse of plenty.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
The cure for the curse of plenty is to share it, and to recognize your good fortune and your happiness. You can't figure out your opportunities until you know your assets, and our best assets are often our friends and family.

My best to you all.

There are some great Thanksgiving links at Dr. M's. (I'm lazy today.)

Happy Thanksgiving Mama,

Average Joe.

Have a great holiday.

Same to you, CF!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, dear Mama! I love your quotes here!

Speaking for the Pessimists, remember that truth is found only in conflict.

If we were all optimists, we would be dead because there would be no check on our actions and we would do the most outlandish things.

Likewise, if we were all pessimists, then we would have never advanced because of fear.

Only by the conflict between the two is reasonable progress made.
