They Say God Only Gives You What You Can Handle
Yesterday morning early my fever broke. I woke up sweating a bit. Every 3 or 4 hours since I have felt a lot better. By mid-afternoon I was drenched, so I think I have finally broken the back of this virus.
Twelve hours after my fever broke, no water! The pump is seized. I have them here now working to replace it. I really need to wash. I stink. I reek of fever sweat.
It sure would have been awful if this sequence of events had been reversed.

I was sort of planning to stay flat until the weekend, Mr. Snippy (but factually appropriate). Water to wash with will greatly enhance my relaxation.
I'm really enjoying the feeling of having my head attached to my body again. It's so... connected!

When you say you're glad the sequence of events wasn't reversed, do you mean that you're glad that the pump didn't start sweating and you didn't seize up?
I mean I'm glad the fever broke before the pump gave out!!!
I was drinking close to a gallon of water a day, and in no condition to drive.

I had water before 1 PM. They did a really nice job, and quickly too. They redid the entire thing, and it was a submersible pump.
That's because I know how to talk to plumbers.
