Something You Rarely See
The initial claims release shows no change in claims over the prior year. None. 362K SA, 346K NSA. The 4-wk moving average is 460K compared to prior's years 368K. Continuing claims are not piling up. Yet.

We have to wait for the employment report to know that.
I have a hunch that on the whole job quality is declining, mostly due to Obamacare positioning.

It still looks a heck of a lot better than the European situation.
Also, we gained full-time jobs solidly last year. That was a true improvement.
