Exhaustion Has Set In

A series of long days under major pressure has finally done me in. I'm going to sleep.

In the meantime, Calculated Risk and this little tidbit about Tiffany's:
Total sales from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31 rose 8 percent, Tiffany said today in a statement.
...
Total holiday sales rose 15 percent in 2006.
...
Sales at U.S. stores open at least a year declined 5 percent in December after gaining 7 percent in November, spokesman Mark Aaron said on the conference call.

More about Countrywide's Pennsylvania Pickle in this article.

Re Countrywide's PA Pickle:

I forwarded the original blog posting (with the court transcript) around. Especially the part about the "re-created" evidence. ("Fake but Accurate", anyone?)

My old Dungeonmaster (D&D) had this comment:

"Like he (CW's lawyer) thought that would fly."

A Mormon lawyer contact in Texas commented that this is the type of stuff that usually leads to investigations and lotsa felony indictments.
